What happen to the Boerne Community Coalition? Where did LOVE Kendall County Kids come from?

In March 2015, the Kendall County Food Council decided to launch a program to provide food during the summer months for children eligible for the Federal Meal Program during the school year.  The Boerne Community Coalition (BCC) was created to fill this gap. In the summer of 2015, with the Mayor's support and, in partnership with Taking It To The Streets, the BCC began to provide meals to children by taking a mobile food truck into their neighborhoods. 

Since then, the BCC has evolved into LOVE Kendall County Kids (LKCK) which better reflects who we serve and our span of reach throughout Kendall County with programs focusing on food, enrichment, beds, school supplies, and critical home repairs for those in need.
